Welcome to Snify. By downloading, installing, or using the Snify application ("the app", "the service"), you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Description of service

Snify is a pet care assistant app that uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized information, reminders, and recommendations. Snify is not a veterinary or medical service.

2. Important health disclaimer

Snify provides general pet care information for educational and informational purposes only. The information provided by the app, including AI assistant responses:

• Does not constitute veterinary advice and does not replace professional consultation.
• Should not be used to diagnose diseases, medical conditions, or emergencies.
• Does not replace professional veterinary care.

For any health concerns or emergencies regarding your pet, always consult a certified veterinarian. Snify is not responsible for decisions made solely based on information provided by the app.

3. User accounts

To use Snify, you need to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing truthful and up-to-date information.

You can register via email, Google Sign In, or Apple Sign In. A user can only belong to one family group at a time.

4. Families

Snify allows creating family groups to share pet care. By creating or joining a family:

• Family members can view and edit all shared pet information.
• Completed tasks (such as feeding) are visible to all members.
• The family admin can approve or reject join requests and depart pets.
• The maximum limit is 20 members per family.

5. Plans and subscriptions

Snify offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan:

• Free plan: Includes up to 5 pets, 5 daily AI chat messages (with the ability to earn extra messages by watching video ads), full medical history with the ability to share records with your vet, find nearby veterinarians and pet hotels, family sharing, and basic training. Includes advertising.
• Pro plan: Includes up to 10 pets, 30 daily AI chat messages, all training levels, restock reminders before food runs out, vacation mode, and no advertising. Pricing is subject to change and is displayed in the app at the time of subscription.

Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on your platform. The corresponding store's renewal, cancellation, and refund policies apply.

6. Advertising

The free plan includes advertising provided by Google AdMob. Ads may include banners, rewarded videos, and interstitials. Pro plan users do not see advertising.

7. Affiliate links

Snify includes links to pet products on platforms such as MercadoLibre and Amazon. These are affiliate links, meaning Snify may receive a commission for purchases made through them. Purchases are made on third-party platforms and are subject to their own terms.

8. Intellectual property

All Snify content, including but not limited to design, code, text, graphics, logos, icons, and illustrations, is the property of Snify and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use the content without express authorization.

9. Acceptable use

By using Snify, you agree not to:

• Use the app for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Interfere with the operation of the app or its servers.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free plan limits.
• Use the AI chat to generate harmful, illegal, or non-pet-related content.

10. Limitation of liability

Snify is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be free from errors or interruptions.
• Information provided by the AI will always be accurate or complete.
• Product recommendations will be suitable for all pets.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snify shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app.

11. Data and privacy

The use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Snify, you accept the practices described in that policy.

12. Account deletion

You can request account deletion at any time by contacting mcruzate@gmail.com. Upon account deletion:

• Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.
• If you are a family admin, the role will be transferred to the oldest member.
• Aggregated anonymous data may be retained for statistics.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified through the app. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Santiago, Chile.
